What gets YOUR heart racing?

So, what does get your heart racing? Watching a scary movie? Getting whipped around on a roller coaster? Maybe the adrenalin rush of driving fast does it (though most certainly not on I-405, which almost always moves at a snail’s pace).

In this case though, I’m talking about exercise.

If you’re trying to lose weight, getting your heart pumping in that magical “fat-burning zone” will help you reach your goal faster. But exactly how are your supposed to know what it is, or when you’re in it?

Wearing a heart rate monitor while exercising is the best way to know if you’re working out in your fat-burning zone.

Because I’m always curious about what’s going on inside my body, I bought a heart rate monitor a couple of months ago. Since then I’ve been wearing it to most of my workouts. My monitor gives me immediate feedback on exactly how hard I’m working, right on an easy-to-read screen on my watch.
