Spring cleaning giveaway!
Ready to do some spring cleaning??? Me too! I recently overhauled my website with a fresher look and a new, broader scope of issues to reflect the many facets of healthy living. I hope you’ve had a chance to look at it!
Closer to home, I’ve been ruthlessly cleaning out closets and filling boxes to donate. We’re in the final weeks before our house goes on the market, and we’ve got decades worth of “treasures” to sort through.
Whether you’re moving or not, you’re gonna love this “spring cleaning” giveaway! You’ve got the chance to win a three-hour in-home consultation with professional stylist (and all-around good egg) Lacie Powell. Lacie will help you with the ultimate spring cleaning as she guides you through your closet and advises you on ways to update your wardrobe and look.
How exciting is that?!?! Lacie is a dear friend and helped me makeover my own closet after I lost weight. No matter where you are in your own healthy living journey, Lacie can help you find the clothes and the look that will make you feel your best every day as you head out to face the world. An important note: Because the consultation and closet edit must take place in the immediate Seattle area (and be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date), for those of you not living in the Seattle area, the alternative prize will be a gift card from California Closets of equal value ($330). Either way, you can win!!!
Click here to enter, and be sure to share the contest entry link with your family and friends. With each share, you earn another chance to win!
What a wonderful way to kick off warmer weather! A wardrobe revamp is just the thing to give you that added push to feel your best this spring and summer.
Hope you win!
Have a happy, healthy week!
Non scale-related goals enhance weight loss
Scene: My bathroom, random Monday morning. I’ve got my foot poised over the scale, and I’m about to step on it. I spent an hour tossing and turning last night, berating myself for overeating – again – vowing to be “good” this week.
I am, in fact, a short-order cook
“Do your kids eat that?” is the question that is frequently posed to me when I post a picture on social media of some culinary marvel that I’m eating. (I’m joking on the “culinary marvel” part; I’m the laziest (healthy) cook in America, remember? I’m just talking about tabbouleh or quinoa, or something.) Read more…
What’s your fitness age?
I didn’t know it before I lost weight, but inside of me lies the heart of a competitor. One of the reasons I enjoy pursuing fitness so much is because I’m constantly striving to improve; I want to get faster, go farther, get stronger. Seeing progress is incredibly motivating. Read more…
