Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Dorothy dreamed of a land that she heard of once in a lullaby, but you can’t just dream about healthy living. You must plan for success!

This week we’ve been talking about how to create a “safe haven” in your home by going through your refrigerator like a twister to clear out those wicked RED LIGHT FOODS, contain the YELLOW LIGHT FOODS, and finally make room for an abundance of GREEN LIGHT FOODS.

In addition, I took on two more of the “ten lessons that becoming an athlete have taught me about weight loss.” It’s amazing to me how these principles overlap in both fitness and weight loss, and how they reinforce one another.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are plentiful in the grocery store and at farmers’ markets right now so stock up, then try this delicious recipe using rhubarb and strawberries. You’re gonna love it!

Dorothy dreamed of a place where skies are blue and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true. And when you set up your kitchen for healthy living you’ll agree, “there’s no place like home!

Have a happy, healthy week!
