Happy Father’s Day!
Every day we head out into the busy world in which we live; we’re faced with unhealthy foods – and lots of advertising, marketing and messaging about those foods. We make decisions about what to eat and what to pass up. If you’re secretly looking for a reason to “cheat” on your diet, you don’t have to look very hard.
This week’s blogs dealt with many of those issues and talked about how to bring awareness to those decisions. When you shine a light on your role as a consumer and as a parent, it’s easier to make positive decisions about your own health, and your family’s.
If you haven’t already read the blog I wrote about my son’s experience losing weight, take a moment to read it now. Connor is very open about what he learned from losing weight, and can teach us grown-ups a thing or two!
Also, Father’s Day is tomorrow, and if you’re still wondering what to serve for brunch or dinner, take a look at the recipe and video below where I reveal what my family will be eating and where we’re going on our special Father’s Day outing. But don’t tell; it’s a secret! Shhhhhhhhh!
Have a happy, healthy week!
– Marilyn
